Who we are

This website is run by WOOD MORNING LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17444229). Our registered office is 10th Floor Brunel House, 2 Fitzalan Road, Cardiff, CF24 0EB, United Kingdom. We are the “controller” of the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email us at support@wood-morning.com.

The short version

  • We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising or analytics cookies or trackers.
  • If you contact us, we use what you send only to reply to you.
  • You buy Wood Morning on Amazon, not from us, so we never see your payment or delivery details.

What we collect, and why

When you contact us

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you write in your message. We use this to read and answer your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who get in touch with us (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check that confirms a message is sent by a person. Turnstile may collect limited technical information about your browser and connection for that purpose.

When you visit the website

We don’t use analytics, advertising cookies, social media pixels or any other tracking on this website. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the website to you and to keep it secure (our legitimate interest). The fonts on this site are served from our own website, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font provider.

When you click through to Amazon

Wood Morning is sold on Amazon. The “Buy on Amazon” buttons on this site take you to Amazon, where your purchase is handled under Amazon’s privacy notice.

These links contain an Amazon Associates tracking tag. Amazon uses it to credit us with a commission on qualifying purchases and may set cookies when you arrive on its site. We do not receive your name, address, payment details or order details from Amazon.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own. Cookies set by Amazon (after you leave this site) and by the social media sites linked in our footer are covered by those companies’ own policies.

Who we share your information with

We only share personal information with companies that help us run the website and answer your messages. They may only use it for that purpose:

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: hosts and protects this website and provides the Turnstile spam check.
  • Resend: delivers messages sent through the contact form to our inbox.
  • Namecheap, Inc.: hosts our email, so it holds the messages you send to us.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, for example to a court or regulator.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of these companies are based in, or process information in, the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on approved safeguards, such as the UK’s adequacy arrangements for transfers to certified US companies or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, so your information keeps a similar level of protection.

How long we keep your information

We keep messages and emails you send us for up to 24 months after our last reply, then delete them. We may keep them for longer if we need them to deal with a complaint, a legal claim or a legal obligation.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your information;
  • object to us using your information on the basis of our legitimate interests; and
  • ask for information you gave us to be sent to you or another organisation in a common format (where this applies).

To use any of these rights, email support@wood-morning.com. We will reply within one month. We may need to check your identity first.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and keep you updated until it is resolved. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113.

Children

This website and our products are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
